To assist in the development of the environmental and engineering studies for this project, IDOT will establish three Technical Advisory Groups (TAG) which will comprise stakeholders with expertise or particular interest in Environmental, Land Use, and Transportation. The TAG 's purpose is to provide input on the development of the Purpose and Need statement and the alternatives to be carried forward for evaluation in the Draft Environmental Assessment. The TAG members will meet throughout the project development process. The TAG input will be considered and shared with the corridor planning group. The TAG may also be asked to address the corridor planning group to help communicate technical issues. The meeting program will be designed to encourage timely and meaningful opportunities for input into the project process.
