Taking A Look Ahead
The next step in the project process is to identify the Preferred Alternative. The Preferred Alternative will be composed of the best elements of the two Refined Alternatives, as determined by stakeholder input, feedback from the Project Study Group, and the Purpose and Need of the project. It will represent the best option for addressing the deficiencies of the project and meeting the Purpose and Need.
The Preferred Alternative will first be presented at the 5th Corridor Planning Group and Technical Advisory (CPG/TAG) Meeting, tentatively scheduled for Summer 2011. After agency concurrence, it will be presented at the Public Hearing, planned for Fall 2011, along with the Environmental Assessment document.
